Echoteka for your AI assistant

Echoteka runs a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Connect it to Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, OpenAI Codex or any MCP client, and the assistant can measure loudness, clean AI-generator artifacts and master a track for you. Same engine, same limits and same free daily master as the website.

Or use the web labserver address: https://echoteka.ai/mcp

What it is

MCP is an open protocol that lets an AI assistant call tools. Echoteka's server exposes the mastering lab as nine tools. You give the assistant a public link to a track; it measures it, suggests a preset and a streaming target, and starts a master. You listen and download the result. Nothing is installed on your computer: the server is remote and the audio is fetched by Echoteka from the link you provide.

Server address (streamable HTTP, no key needed): https://echoteka.ai/mcp

Connect it

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http echoteka https://echoteka.ai/mcp

Claude Desktop

Open Settings, then Connectors, add a custom connector and paste https://echoteka.ai/mcp. If your version only supports local servers, use the bridge: add this to claude_desktop_config.json and restart the app.

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "echoteka": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://echoteka.ai/mcp"]
    }
  }
}

Cursor

Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or .cursor/mcp.json in a project):

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "echoteka": { "url": "https://echoteka.ai/mcp" }
  }
}

OpenAI Codex

In a terminal:

codex mcp add echoteka --url https://echoteka.ai/mcp

Or add this to ~/.codex/config.toml:

[mcp_servers.echoteka]
url = "https://echoteka.ai/mcp"

The Codex CLI, the Codex IDE extension and the ChatGPT desktop app share this configuration, so one setup covers all three.

Any other client

Send JSON-RPC over HTTP POST to https://echoteka.ai/mcp. Start with server/discover or tools/list. A machine-readable description is available at /mcp.json.

Sign in from your assistant

Anonymous use is enough to try the tools. To use the masters of your own account, add the server with the sign-in address instead:

claude mcp add --transport http echoteka https://echoteka.ai/mcp/oauth

In Claude Desktop or any client with a connector dialog, paste https://echoteka.ai/mcp/oauth. The client opens an Echoteka page in your browser: sign in or create an account, press Allow, and you are connected. The sign-in uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE; the assistant gets an access token limited to mastering and never sees your password. Changing your password disconnects every app.

What you get after sign-up: 3 welcome masters, available once you have confirmed your email, plus 1 free master every day. They are used through the assistant exactly as in the web lab. The assistant still cannot buy credits: if the masters run out, it tells you and you decide on the website.

get_jobStatus and result of a job: loudness, true peak, loudness range, and a signed download link.Free

What is free

The same quotas and checks apply as on the website. Using several devices, networks or accounts to collect more free masters is against the terms. Free masters are not stored for long, so download the result when the job is done.

Honest limits

Do I need an account or an API key?

No. The server works without either, on the free daily master. If you want the masters of your own account, connect to https://echoteka.ai/mcp/oauth instead and sign in once; API keys are not needed for that.

Does the assistant see my files?

The assistant sends Echoteka a link; Echoteka downloads the audio from it, processes it and returns measurements and a download link. We do not use your audio to train models; see the privacy policy.

Can it spend my money?

No. The server has no payment tool. If no free master is left, the assistant is told to ask you, and you decide what to do next.

Which presets and loudness targets are available?

Ask the assistant to call list_presets. Streaming targets follow the platform: about -14 LUFS for Spotify and YouTube, -16 for Apple Music and podcasts, with true peak at or under -1 dBTP. See streaming loudness targets.

Can I master a Suno track this way?

Yes. Give the assistant the link to the WAV or MP3 download, ask it to clean the artifacts first and then master for your platform. Whether you may release the song depends on your Suno plan.
