Echoteka 1.2: hear the difference, then master from anywhere

What's new in Echoteka 1.2: a before/after player on a real Suno song, an MCP server for Claude, Cursor and Codex, audio restoration, AI cleanup and mastering in one run, loudness that follows your platform, new formats and a Telegram bot.

A week after 1.1 gave everyone a free master every day, Echoteka 1.2 is about two things: letting you hear what mastering does before you trust it with your song, and letting you master from wherever you already work — your browser, your AI assistant or Telegram.

Hear it before you upload

Every mastering site says "release-ready". We would rather show you. The home page and the Suno mastering page now have a before/after player on a real Suno song.

The LUFS checker also has a "Try a 20-second sample" button: see loudness, true peak and loudness range on a real track without uploading anything of your own.

Master from your AI assistant

If you work in Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor or OpenAI Codex, you can now master without leaving it. Add our MCP server — https://echoteka.ai/mcp — and ask your assistant to:

The free daily master works there too. Sign in from your assistant (OAuth) and it can use your account's bonus masters. There are no payment tools: the assistant cannot pay for anything.

Restore old recordings

The new audio restoration page has ready-made sets for cassette, vinyl, phone and interview recordings — tape hiss, hum, clicks and room echo cleaned up before the master. Restoration also got more honest:

Clean and master in one run

For Suno tracks you no longer need two passes. Turn on "Also clean AI artifacts" and cleanup runs as part of the master — free, at no extra cost. If you only want the cleanup, it now downloads as MP3 or FLAC as well as WAV.

One honest note: cleanup shifts pitch by 7 cents. It is hard to hear, but we would rather tell you. Cleanup takes generator traces out of the sound; it does not hide that a song was made with AI. Curious what it does in numbers? We measured it on 2,230 tracks.

Loudness follows your platform

Pick Spotify, Apple Music, a club or another platform, and that choice sets the loudness. The genre and the AI advice now shape the sound — tone, density, character — not the level. Speech presets and "Already loud" keep their own targets, because their loudness is the point.
